Techstream connection issue

I can connect to the ECU with the update firmware app, but Techstream itself
won't. Win7/64. I RATFMs I could find. What am I missing?

I had this same issue in mine. In my case it was because the version of techstream I was using was the newest and for whatever reason not able to communicate with the ECU.

Same. After upgrading my tech stream version, I was having all kinds of issues. Going back to an older version seems to have solved the problems. It was a real pain at the time though.

WHAT! tech stream access outside of a dealership tell me more....

$20 cable comes with the software (though I'm going to be looking for an
older version of the Techstream sw shortly). That, and a ~decent laptop should
give you access.

search on "MINI VCI USB Interface OBD2 Diagnostics Cable For TOYOTA/LEXUS
TIS Techstream". Showed up in like 3 days, US sourced.
