Hopefully this is the last issue that NEEDS to be fixed, the rest is just details. I've got a 95 4rnr, V6, auto, sr5, and when I turn on the blower motor for the climate control my temp gauge goes to zero until I turn off the blower. No other gauges or systems seems to be effected. I know it has to be a short or something but I've got most of the dash out and have been looking for weeks and am no closer then when I started. Does anybody have any ideas that might point me in the right direction?

I've been doing alot of nothing but paying attention to what happens when I turn the blower motor on and I have a stupid question. When I switch on the blower I hear a click from a relay above the ecu. Is it SUPPOSE to do this? I'm embarrassed to say I never noticed until I really started looking and listening. Last week I shut the truck off, went in to get my son from daycare, got back in, started it up, and everything worked fine. Blower was on, temp gauge worked, and then 60 or so seconds later I hear that click, and... No more temp gauge. It had been raining all day by the way.

You talking about the coolant temp gauge?
If so, there's no relay or any other connection to the blower motor.
All the gauges and idiot lights in the gauge cluster use the same +12V source, so if that was cutting out, everything should go out. There could be something flakey in the cluster itself, loose ground or other wire, water leaking in onto it.
