So I bought my 87 about a month ago
When I bought it the lights behind the temp controls did not work
The fuses are all good
I have no idea where to look for possible causes
any ideas from here?

Thanks,
Chet

The bulb (s) are probably blown.
Remove the bezel and then remove the control unit. The bulbs should be accessable from the back - if memory serves correctly...

my 94 worked for me once and then stopped. I dont think mine is bulbs because when i got it to work they all went on and then I touched it and it went off. It felt like a short or something. But its not high on my priority list of repairs

on my 95 it was the bulb. it's a single bulb back there with a diffuser - it's a small bulb - i forget what size.

I forgot to mention that when I was driving it a few weeks ago the bulb did come on for about 5 seconds and then stopped working. I am getting pretty good at doing it by feel. I will check it out.

Thanks,
Chet
