Hey all,
Apparently, Lexus GX470 owners have had problems with the accuracy of the outside temperature gauge. Recently, there has been a TSB about it from Lexus. Read this thread:

Please note that this may NOT apply to the 4runner. My brother's Lexus LX470 takes a full 5 minutes or so before registering the right outside temperature. My '02 4runner's gauge is accurate right away. So, it looks like Toyota uses two different temperature gauge OR Toyota places them in different locations (thus, resulting in the different temp readings initially).
