Tepui RTT bolt size

I've looked all over the interwebz for an answer to this. The bolts I got with the RTT wont work with the gobi crossbars. Tried getting my pops to bring one into the office for me to get shorter ones to try again this evening, but he brought the wrong ones. Thanks in advance!

You can call them and let them know you are looking for shorter bolts. They offered them to me when I was at the warehouse speaking to the owner about how they should offer more styles of mounts (like half rounded Gobi/Yakima style). I was showing him how close mine were to the base of my Gobi and he offered me some but I was in a hurry and I planed to change how I had it mounted anyway. Make sure if you pick them up on your own you get stainless steel or you will have rust really quick.

2nd that. I would call Tepui and ask them. The mounting is a REALLY tight fit on a Gobi. Most guys I've seen with them have added Yakima/Thule/Rhino cross bars on top of their Gobi to give some more room to work with the brackets.
