TEQ Grille Badges?

Over the last couple years I have been getting constant requests to make the retro TEQ grille badges for the 3rd Gens. I already make them for most Cruiser grilles and some 4Runner grilles but I have not gotten to the 3rd gen. One reason is that fact that there are 3 different grilles with 3 different OEM grille badges. Recently I decided to stop the annoying requests and take on this project. The 99-00 TEQ grille badge is now done. I recently shipped it to a member on here and I should have pics to show in the next day or two. Now I want to focus on the 96-98 and the 01-02 grille badge. I need a couple things from you guys. I need zoomed in pics of the OEM grille badge mounted from both the 96-98 and the 01-02. I would also love a couple pics of the grille with the badge removed. Finally I need the exact height and width dimensions of the OEM grille badge and possibly the height and width of the hole when the badge is removed. Can you guys help me with that? Here's a few CAD pics of the 99-00 TEQ grille badge. There is a separate backing plate that goes down into the grille and creates a flat surface for the badge to attach to. In the pics the backing plate is gray and the badge is black. I only did that so you guys could see the 2 parts. The actual product would all be one matching color. The backing plate would be totally hidden behind the badge.

I just got pics of the first prototype installed. I'm happy with how it looks. The guy wanted the red/silver combo. My TEQ badges always come in the red/silver, black/silver, and raw metal (for folks that want a custom color). Here's how it looks. This rig is in getting custom bumpers so it's not all put together.

Subbing this cause I definitely want an 01-02 badge in bare metal so I can paint gold and gunmetal.

It's hard to tell but I THINK I can see those dimensions. Is the 01-02 badge 3.43" tall by 5.15" wide?

I did a little research on the 01-02 badge and apparently it's the same badge as the 95-97 80 Series Landcruiser and the 98-02 100 Series Landcruiser. That means I have this badge in stock. It has the same 3 holes as my badge. I measured my 80 Series TEQ grille badge and it appears to match the measurements given above (assuming I'm seeing your measurements correctly). This is good news. That means I have the 99-00 badge and the 01-02 badge all done. Now I just need to focus on the 96-98 badge. Does anyone have a grille from a 96-98 laying around. I can buy it off you or maybe borrow it if willing. Here's some pics of the 80/100 series TEQ grille badge for reference.

I can confirm this. I just bought a brand new OEM toyota badge for my 2001.

I ordered part #: 75311-60090. It was a direct fit.

According to this site, the badge fits LC 1995-2003 and 4runners.

Sounds good. The first one is shipping out this morning. I should have pics of the 01-02 badge installed by mid to late next week. I'm confident it will fit fine but I'm not sure if the 3 screws will be perfect. I don't know if 80 series grille and the 3rd gen grille use the same attachment hardware. I will find out soon.

The 99-00 badge is two pieces with a 3D printed mounting place (totally hidden) and then the actual badge. It will be around $40. The 01-02 badge is only one piece but there is a lot more machining time on the backside and I have to cut and tap the 3 holes. Labor is more even though material is less. That badge should also be around $40. The 96-98 badge is still unknown. It will be somewhere in the $30-$40 range. Once I get my hands on the actual grille I will be able to give a more exact price.

My rear hatch badges are very different from my grille badges. They are usually about 30% smaller and are designed to mount to a curved surface and not a flat grille.
