Terrific Price on Borla Exhaust

Just wanted to let you know that I just ordered my Borla exhaust for $619.99. That's right, for under $620!!

Let me explain why I find this so great. I'm a military officer stationed in Germany. I've been comtemplating the purchase of this exhaust since I bought my runner in April. The problem...finding it for a reasonable price and getting it shipped via USPS mail to my APO address in Germany. For some reason, too many online dealers refuse to support the US military and they do this by not sending items via USPS. I don't understand why, it really is no different than shipping an item to New York City.

In any event, Steve and Charlie from Deland Toyota in Deland Florida not only gave a price better than any I've seen for a brand new system, but they also coordinated with USPS to ensure the box could be sent Priority Mail to my APO. That is customer service! More importantly to me, as a servicemember, I appreciate their efforts to go above and beyond to help me out. For that I thank them.

In return for their kindness and efforts to help me out, I promised I would share this experience with all of you. So, if any of you are looking for a new Borla system, look no further, because I truly believe these guys are the last ones you'll need to deal with.

Here is the number: 1-800-883-2645-EXT443. Ask for Steve or Charlie and I'm sure you'll be satisfied.

Cheers!

That's where I got mine last October. I got it for 649.99, then the price went up to 729.99 immediately after. Good to see it's back down again.

Well it finally arrived. Due to its size, USPS had to send it on the slow boat to Germany, but it is here and the box doesn't have a scratch on it (take a note PARTZNET:soapbox:...APO shipments via USPS can be done even for 60lb boxes and they only charged me $58).

I'll post pics of the install once complete.

Cheers!

Just installed the borla and what a difference. I absolutely love the sound and my wife (who was concered that is may be too loud) is also fine with it. It really doesn improve the look, sound and psychological feel of the runner.

Now, I've done read some other threads and did a few searches, and I believe I need to reset my ECU to see the performance gains...can anyone out there tell me what steps I need to take to perform the reset?

Thanks!

Disconnect the negative battery cable and let it off for a couple minutes anf put it back on. Start up the vehicle and let it idle for a few minutes and take it for a ride on on the x way where if you like to speed up fast. :)

I was wondering if anybody knows any good (cheap) beginner mods/accessories i can get for my Runner? I'm on a pretty strict budget so.. any advice would be great! Anything from interior to performance or exterior. Thanx alot..- Phill

$665 +$50 shipping. I think i got ripped off. The guy was really lame. He said "oh.. ummm... I can't sell them for that price any longer... sorry...." I still ordered it because i am in need of an exhaust system asap (i ripped up my factory system on some rocks.. opps:)).. so my 4Rner is out of commision till i get something. I spoke with one of teh guys you recommened... but they were lame. :(

Well, I won't try to defend them. The fact is I had superb service from Steve and Charlie for both my exhaust and trailer hitch issues. I'm sorry you were not as happy.

Good luck with you system and post pics when you get it installed.

Cheers!

it's int eh mail. I will let you know what i think. How does the dual exhaust look? I am still undecided on the looks. I guess i kind of like the stock (can't see it) look. Did you lose any ground clearnance? Please tell me no! (that was the problem in the first place... (my 4th gen is so much lower than my 3rd gen!)
