Test Fuel rails for leaks before putting intake back together?

Hey all-

I just replaced all my fuel injectors, and it looks like my middle injector on the passenger side is leaking a little. Pretty sure I tore an o-ring. I ordered new plenum/throttle gaskets, fuel rail washers and injector o-rings, but before I tear it back down to fix the leak, is there anyway I can ensure there are no leaks after replacing the o-rings before I re-assemble the air intake system? Would love to only do this one more time ray:

As far as I know there is no other way. Put a little Vaseline on the injector o rings so they slide easier.

even if not fully assembled, meaning plenuims not on yet, etc, wont just turning on the key pressurize the system? wont that test for leaks ? sure it will have air in it, but if leaks eventually the air would push out and fuel would start leaking out.
I dont know , just guessing as to working on other brands of fuel injection.

That is what I was thinking, re-hook up the battery and turn the key and see. I tried to test this by just turning the key yesterday, but the injector didnt leak, I dont think I waited very long, less than 20-30 seconds, maybe I need some time for the pressure to build. I will run a longer test next time I am out there.

I think you've got to be cranking the starter over for the fuel pump to engage, so disconnect the coil packs.

Fuel pump only starts pumping once you try to start it with 3rd gen's.

Thanks for all your help guys! I am finally leak free, lucky only the passenger side was leak free so I only had to get throttle and intake tube out of the way for each try and didn't have to mess with the plenums. Using Vaseline seemed to be the fix, the lead I was following said to use gas, and that just seemed to be drying out to fast tearing the gaskets. I am sure there was a fair amount of user error too.
