testing a subwoofer

Hopefully things aren't too good to be true.
Today, I pulled out of a dumpster a 10" Infinity Reference 1020w subwoofer. The surround is fully intact. I tested it with a signal generator to make sure the voice coil was ok, and it was. Is there anything else I can do to verify it is good?

You can hold it in your hands and with your thumbs (at the same time) at a 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock setting, push in on the driver at the same time. If there is any resistance then it is probably blown. You can also take speaker wire and hook up the wire to the positive and negative leads and take a AA battery and put the negative lead on the negative side of the battery and the positive lead on the positive side of the battery and it should pop. Just to make sure that everything is fluid I guess...
