But im looking for a recommendation on a mechanic to change out my timing belt/water pump all that good stuff on a 1998 4runner limited in the DFW area.

If this isn't allowed admins please delete or move to proper area.

I will +1 for Tandem. They are the only shop I will recommend without hesitation. They do the work on most of my friends' rigs and everyone is happy with them. They wheel too so they know what it takes.

Thanks. I havnt called them been busy with work. But yah every shoo around me in richardson will only replace the whole LCA when I just need them to press in my poly bushings.

Yeah; that is one of those things that people just have to accept as "not shop reasonable" for regular auto shops. At least at Tandem they can press them out and then do an alignment once all done.

In January I ended up replacing my LCAs, steering rack, and damn near everything that touched them on my 4Runner. Tandem did a great job on my alignment after I had it all back together.
