Looking for some fellow Toyota 4x4/overlanding enthusiasts to meet up with in the DFW area! My wife and I are big into off-roading, camping, hiking and generally love the outdoors. We would like to meet others who share similar interests.

Hey everyone!

Haven't posted in this thread before. From the Houston area here. I travel out to the Austin area fairly often. Last time I went I found this nifty map. Its a bunch of cool drives. I've personally driven CR315, its beautiful (especially coming from the Willow City side) and a fun drive. If you hit it in rain season you'll have a couple creek crossings too. Travis County Doe Run Rd is a great one too. The map was put together by dual sport riders, so there's a chance there will eventually be something that only dual sporters can do. But so far all of them are full-size vehicle roads. None of it is particularly challenging, but fun nonetheless. Reply with pictures if you hit up any of these spots!

I actually did my first bit of wheeling in my T4R this weekend at Hidden Falls! My 4Runner continuously surprised me and did very well off-road. I will be going to the Toyota Jamboree in Gilmer, TX May 4th-7th. Think you or any other members going to that?

I don't think I can make the Jamboree this year... but it's not 100% off the table yet. I was just out there a month or so ago with some Jeep buddies; and I'd prefer if my rig had a few more items done before heading back again. I haven't been to Bridgeport yet; but it's really close for me. Wouldn't mind taking a day trip out there sometime with some others.

I may be joining for a pre-Jamboree workout.
