Text to Speech - E7019

Does anyone know if text-to-speech is available on the E7019 NAV (map v. 6.1)

My unit doesn't give me an option to enable TTS but I'm wondering if there is a firmware or an update out there that will allow this feature.

That seems to be strange....................from what I understand, the E7019 is the "entry level" nav unit Toyota has, but I seriously doubt it doesn't have the text to speech.

Sorry for the dumb question.........did you connect the VSS correctly to the back of the unit???

Remember that the VSS pin for the head unit the middle pin (of the 5 pins that are there).
