Savior my butt!!

Obama is single-handedly making Bush look better and better every day! :( Former VP Cheney may not be wrong afterall.

BTW, it is nice to see a former President being respectful to the current President (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090318...irst_speech;_ylt=AhAqzsnwL__IYGGQGuZjbxlI2ocA). I love how President Carter and Clinton bashed Bush while he was in office...disrespectful IMHO!

I think that sooner rather than later, many of Obama supporters are slapping themselves silly for being so damn gullible!

I love how Obama Admin is "outrage" at AIG's bonuses when they knew about it BEFORE they gave out the stimulus package! What a load of BS!! Yet, you have gullible Americans believing it! :( I feel bad for Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner...he is now officially the scapegoat of the Obama Admin! :D I bet that he is regretting accepting the job now!

So, it is a good thing that YOU voted for him and defended him to the bitter end?? Good job!

RIC, Obama admin will disarm America soon enough...take guns out of the law-abiding citizens! Ammo will be ultra expensive now since registration is gonna happen. Forget high capacity magazines.

I wonder how many criminals actually go into a gun shop to buy guns?? :bash:

Impeachment Time: Obama Grants Eminent Domain Rights to China to Secure Debt

It is interesting that this thread started with this statement and everyone is talking about everything but.......

I find it strange that some off the wall site, states a claim and say it is true, but nothing to back it up. I mean I haven't heard about any impeachment trial starting about this?????

I also find it strange that the president is on the news everyday talking to the common folk about their problems, he sounds like he is running for office. Well the fact is, he is the president and does he really need these polictical stump speeches?

So,I simply have to agree with 100% of what he does? I guess you'd do the same if McCain won? Just simply agree with everything of the guy you voted for?

I voted against McCain just as much as I voted for Obama but we still have along ways to go. He won and you gotta deal with it but these threads you start don't seem to serve anything except to vent your fustrations and instigate people like you do with me. I was in agreeance with ric but it doesn't mean I wished I voted differently.

You do act as if McCain was president all our worries would be gone and we'd have this financial disaster turned around. He didn't have any answers during his campaign turned trainwreck thus being part of why McCain/Palin lost.

What would you guys do and I am seriously curious since some of you act like you know better so enlighten us but let's keep it civil also.
What would President McCain be doing?

On a final note,I really don't like these threads since they can create enemies with people over something stupid and that goes as far as not even wheeling with another member so be careful with what we say here since politics instigate negativity pretty much 100% of the time.

He won and you gotta deal with it

We ALL have to deal with it, EVEN my GRANDKIDS...

Im not for sure what McCain would have done, but Im geussing he would not try to disarm America.
NO Pres. is perfect, but come on, this clown has spent more money, and in his first 50 days, whats the rest of his term going to be like ?? I sure hope he gets better, I doubt it, but I hope so for my boys sake.

i would hope everyone here is man(or woman) enough to put this aside and not pick their friends based off of this. thats what makes america so great everyone can have their opinions and vent them out but still be buds. it gets everyone going but at the end of the day we are still americans (most of us) and we need to help each other. my good friend voted for obama i did not. i hate (well i really dis-like) obama and he wants to bare his children i think...we feud all the time over it but its all in good taste and we are still good friends

George Bush dug the initial hole the last 8 years or we wouldn't be in the boat we are. If this country sinks it was because Bush blew out the bottom in the first place and I'm not sure anybody could just turn it around. Obama,McCain,Superman,Chuck Norris.......

Hey,what can I say? I can't take my vote back and it was a crossing of the fingers no matter what clown won. I still hope things get turned around and only time will tell.

You cannot say what McCain would have done,it's all specualtion since once politicians are in office things change;did this just become news?

I'm thankful I have my job and my bills are being paid but worrying about politics on a daily basis simply depresses me and in part of why I try to avoid these threads.

Have a nice day.

X2, my BEST friend is a oboma support, I hate oboma, never trusted him from the first time I seen him on tv, but we get along GREAT, he has his views, I have mine, we talk about the issues, but it never gets heated..

Time will tell, just how bad of a mistake he is.

ha i think chuck norris could....no youre right we have zero idea what mccain would do...i was a fred thompson supporter but by default i voted for mccain...i think he has more exp and could have done a bit more (and spent a lot less) when i went to the polls it was just the lesser of two evils for me.

just like you im glad to be working and buying toys. if anything its nice to take advantage of the busted economy and get good deals

RonM, the problem is that you were one of Obama's biggest supporter on this forum during the election debate...he did no wrong...remember?

I agree with Ric...McCain may not have been perfect, but his ideas would be more in-line with mine...be more in-line with someone who has experience.

BTW, this is a political discussion...you are still the moderator of this forum...so, no, i don't take anything personal from this...neither should you. :)

There you go again...everything is Bush's fault! 9/11 is Bush's fault too, right? Even your great leader is now seeing things are not so rosey...and some of his policies are very similar to Bush's. The difference is that Bush is not backstabbing Obama like previous Democratic former presidents! (or like Obama during the election either for that matter!)

BTW, McCain at least won't screw his fellow veterans!

very true, no one can deny that, BUT, is that change ????

Ive told some many, that if oboma gets elected we are going to be in serious trouble, I think some are starting to believe me, but what do I know, lol

I do know that I like bacon :bigok:

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Maria Shriver says President Barack Obama's joke comparing his poor bowling score to that of a Special Olympics athlete was hurtful, although she is sure he didn't mean it that way.

California's first lady issued a statement Friday, a day after the president made the gaffe on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Obama later called Maria's brother, Special Olympics Chairman Tim Shriver, to apologize.

The siblings' mother, Eunice Kennedy-Shriver, founded the Special Olympics and has championed the rights of the mentally disabled.

Maria Shriver says the reaction to Obama's joke shows there is still more work to do. She says laughing at such comments "hurts millions of people throughout the world."

Shriver, a Democrat, supported Obama's presidential campaign.
