okay...so it's not a "perfect" analogy...or, well...maybe it is.Perhaps if the dough doesn't taste good it should never even be put in the oven!
I was just making a "general" statement, I had not even looked at the link until now. getting youths involved and proud of their country and communities is a good thing (IMHO), but I am not sure what this "GIVE" bill is actually going to be about!

Let's stick strictly to policies with Obama. Many talk about his charisma. Charisma is charisma; it doesn't make someone a better leader or even a human being; Hitler had a great deal of charisma, as did/do Reagan and Clinton.
Immigration, specifically illegal, is the most vile of his policies. To push amnesty at a time when unemployment is spiraling out of control indicates how important the common working man (or woman) is to Obama. Unfortunately, McCain shared this view, a point which helped Obama win.
Increasing the taxation of the moderately well off while not closing loopholes and adding taxes to the fabulously wealthy indicates again that Obama has specific interests, specifically, those who can singlehandedly deliver huge sums to his campaigns. How is a $250,000 income the same as $20 million?
My mother's cancer surgery is presently being delayed due to a dearth of available medical care in Florida, due to lawyer-friendly malpractice laws. Put in place his socialist medical system, and these delays will undoubtedly reduce expenditures for the procedures as medical providers simply quit and people die while awaiting medical procedures. (To clarify, her delay is on the order of a total delay of about 3 weeks, while in Canada and European socialist countries, the delays are in months and the death toll (if they alowed it to be measured) would be astounding. This is why Canadians pay here rather than waiting to die at home.)
I could go on, and probably will later, but I need to get back to working.

America is declining. The world as a whole is declining. Again it's a great thing!
Because this will create social unrest and it will wake up many people. The end of one era is the begin of the next. Change is coming! Change is inevitable. But it won't be coming from Obama but rather he just happen to be part of it. Take the article from example, since the pro-life vs. pro choice argument is senseless to begin with the moment the author partake in the argument undermine all his credibility.

it still baffles me how people dont understand his robin hood mentality
here is a copy of an email i got recently:
I recently asked my friend's little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day.
Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her,' If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?
She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.'
Her parents beamed.
'Wow! What a worthy goal.' I told her, 'But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.'
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?'
I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'

Like Ive said BEFORE he won, we will be in a world of hurt.. no one believed me, some are starting to see I was right :bigok:

I understand there's a lot of people who don't like Obama and think his policies are going to ruin America, yadda yadda. But these are the same people who still have Sore/Loserman bumper stickers on their garage walls. People like Rush and Hannity railed against Gore supporters for not moving on after the 2000 election, and yet they're still bringing up stuff like this birth certificate. I don't much see the point.
If mouthpieces like Rush, Hannity, and Ann Coulter want to talk all day about how this country is going to communist hell and how screwed we all are, that's fine with me. Furthermore, if people on the left want to talk about how wonderful he is and how he's the savior of the US, that's cool too.
I will continue to stick to my "No non-sports talk radio" policy in my 4r! :driving:
