I added CBI's Ditch light brackets and a set of PIAA LP550 LED Driving Lights. Special thanks to [MENTION=117644]TRD4runnin[/MENTION] for the killer deal on the lights and [MENTION=83792]thebrandon[/MENTION] for the install write up on the brackets. Made it a breeze.

Looks great! What kind of highway mpg are you seeing with the 285s on there? Did you take a big hit?

it definitely isnt what it used to be. averaging probably 17. around town its like 15.

It's made by a company called Off Road Innovations. It's for a tacoma, and it isn't an exact fit. We had to do some careful measuring to get it to fit as good as it does.

Big couple of months coming up for the old Runner. Timing Belt/Water Pump, Valve Cover Gaskets, New Thermostat, Radiator, Hoses, Spark plugs, wires, intake gaskets, PCV, drive belts, new PS pump and CS 144 Alternator (with Big 3 Wiring Upgrade) all on the table. As well as frame rust treatment/prevention.
In the meantime, I've been driving it here and there. About two weeks ago I bought a 02 Lexus GS430 to drive while I do a bunch of the work on the 4Runner. What a great car. Fun to have another project since the 4Runner is almost come to a point where I am satisfied. It was (like the 4Runner) a one owner, no accident vehicle. Extremely clean and fully loaded for 2002.
The Ohio 4Runner group (find us on FB!) hosted a Central Ohio meet a couple weeks back. It was a bit chilly, but the few of us who came out had a great time oogling over eachothers rigs. We've got a good group, and hopefully the weather clears so we can meet up this weekend.
Before I dive into all the maintenance, I had one last mod for the Runner, a custom built full length roof rack. Even has an insert for a sunroof. Originally built for the creator of YotaMafia, he didn't need it anymore despite the project already being started. We've met a couple times and he knew I wanted a rack. He and his buddy finished the rack and I bought it. It looks great and isn't heavy at all. A great addition. I plan on sand blasting it and painting it probably with some truck liner here shortly. Of course with monsoon season upon us it doesn't look the best now, but it will soon!
Also coming soon: Running board delete!

Nice Lexus! I look at those occasionally too, although I really don't need another car... I really like those older Lexuses (Lexi??) They're pretty good looking in my opinion and have come down in price to be very affordable. Plus I'm sure that V8 moves a little quicker than the 4Runner.

Couple of updates.
Also threw on a PreRunner Bar that is actually for a Tacoma. A little measuring and help from my old man and it fits great. Added my PIAA 520i Fog lights from my previous 4Runner.

It is great to drive a vehicle that can get out of its own way. I'm not sure if I'll keep it going into the winter, but if i do I'll probably store it. It's in excellent condition and doesn't deserve to be battered with snow and salt. I've taken it on a couple of trips and maxed out at 28mpg, twice what the 4runner gets. Plenty of room for my 6'5" 250lb frame as well.

Went wheeling with a friend of mine who has a lifted Forester XT. Light stuff, but a fun way to spend an afternoon.
Gonna try to wrap up installing my auxiliary rear lights before we take the 4Runner to Mackinaw City. After that trip I'm going to try and knock out as much work as I can, but a leaky rear main seal may be beyond my ability. Might surrender that to the pros.
