Towing with the CBI bumper is a breeze. I towed this 18’ rhib for work a few times and couldn’t even tell it was behind me.

Finally bought some new wheels. The Method 305 NV’s. Im really digging the contrast of the black/bronze/silver.

Finally got around to installing my Icom IC-2730A ham radio. I wanted to use the antenna mount hole that comes on my CBI bumper, but it is roughly 24” below the roofline, so I Tigged together a 1.5” aluminum tube and some flanges that I made and gave it a couple coats of Steel-it black paint. It is secured to the bumper with a 1/2” dia Hi-lok fastener that my 4runner could bungee jump from, and a p-clamp on the back of the jerry can carrier so it doesn’t flop around.

After having the winch and idea in my head for the last 3 years or so, I finally built and installed my rear winch. It’s a Warn 6k that I got for $100! It actually sits above the lowest part of the bumper and only the fair lead mount is visible and is still higher then the stock bumper was.

Well I finally got around to building my roof rack a couple months ago. It is made out of 1" .083 wall mild steel, and completely tig welded. I also installed the Renogy premium 100 watt Eclipse solar panel kit.

Yesterday I got my EIM Keith lower link reinforcements welded on. I had planned on tig welding them on, but the gaps were a little too large for me to do it cleanly. Ah well, they came out just fine with my mig. They got topped off with 2 coats of Steel-it as well.

Finally pulled the trigger on a set of OME 861's. Now my rear sag is gone when loaded down and the ride has improved a lot as well!

I left that inner 3" un-welded for now since my tank was full and too heavy and awkward to drop. Ill weld it up in a week or so when my tank gets below 1/4.

I cant recall the exact measurement but my numbers may differ from what yours will be based off of the way your rig is setup versus how mine is. I may have more or less weight on my rig than you do on yours.

The rack is mounted with the factory 10 screws and the front is supported by 2 5/16" swivel feet and rtv'd to the cab to prevent any fluttering.
