2002 Toyota 4 runner SR5 224k miles 1 owner . I've been on the 80s thread on ihmud for 5 years . My first rig was the 07 fjcruiser sold it after building it and the kids outgrow the back seat space so I have to sell it and took a 1994 Toyota landcruiser 3x locked . I'm building this 4 runner for my son he turned 17 and got his drivers license already . So far he liked the red color but for the meantime I will be addressing all the maintenance stuff before modifying it . Here is the red 4runner.

First thing in order was an engine oil change and filter change . It has a white napa oil filter and also napa radiator hoses. I was trying to figure out what coolant I have coz I can't see coolant on top whenI take off the cap . Nothing in the coolant bottle so I tried to open the rad drain and saw a green coolant . I compared it to a new Prestone 50/50 green coolant but it's some kind of more on the yellow side . Is it ok to tap this off with a green Preston 50/50 coolant? Or since I've been seeing a lot of napa parts it might be a Napa green coolant wich I'm not familiar with . Btw I hooked up my scangauge and drove it with AC on its around 75 here yesterday and it went up to 195-199. Pls advice . Thanks

I've heard its best to go with the OEM red coolant...50/50
