Sorry guys, I k ow how most of you feel about Jeeps, but I wanted to show you what my dad calls The 4Runner Recovery Vehicle... and for good reason. This beast has 37"'s, 6" lift, armor, lights, winch, blah blah blah, etc..

I have had a couple rubicon jeeps. That one looks pretty nice and has tons of mods....sad that it has bald, cheap dangerous tires on it.

Yeah those were the old ones.They were actually 36"'s without the tread. They started splitting. We recently got new ones.

at the end of the day, we can flame on people's jeeps all we want, but any one who cares about a rig enough to spend that much time and money and clearly drives it ( just look at them tires!) has my respect. and hey, least its not a hummer with blinged out bro stance lift and chromies!

You are exactly right... Except that one time a hummer pulled is out of two feet of mud once... But other than that YES.

My previous rig... Wouldnt say it was a toyota recovery vehicle but an "anything you can do I can do better" vehicle LOL

Still have my 4Runner, of course. Bought a 2-door Rubicon a couple of years ago....mainly for trips/offroading- Moab, Ouray, etc. Love the tight turning radius and short wheelbase but it is time to get more room. Will be trading it in and ordering a new 4-door Rubicon. Finding we need more room for gear and for when friends want to go offroading too. Drove a FJ this time too but it didn't make the cut. Needed something new so the legendary Defender was out (still love those).

As far as the 4Runner goes, it has under 100K miles. The timing belt is done, as is the trans fluid. Will just keep it, I think. Will not mod it or anything, though I love seeing lifted 4Rs and go through slight wishful thinking. Still drives like a dream...at least in my book.
