....is finally over.
Picked up my SE 4x4 V8, in white, tonight. Been waiting on this thing for over 5 weeks now. It was originally "supposed" to be here mid-Feb, then 2/20, then 2/22, (even showing in stock at my dealer via toyota.com back on 2/27) etc, etc.
Almost gave up several times (really been needing a new vehicle for several weeks now). On Tuesday night I spent some time with the salesman and gave him one more day - if it didn't transit out of GST yesterday, I was going to have to look elsewhere.
Fortunately it did leave the port yesterday and arrived this morning at the dealership. When I saw it this afternoon, I was glad that I waited. It was well worth the wait, the delays, the aggravations, etc.
This is my 3rd Toyota. I put 140K on a '90 4x4 truck and my wife put 172K on a '95 Camry. I plan on putting 200K on this one.
