In the Surf, are the windows (other than Driver and Rear) automatic up and down?

US Spec, only the driver side and rear have the feature.

Oh, I have another questions

Does this Mirror tilt downward automatically when you back up?

Damn, i wish they had done that in the US. I wonder what it would cost to make ours do that? Does anyone know if it is just the switches on the door?

I think... Circuit Relay?

Can you give me a toyota part number for these two units?

電子カードキーを携帯して、運転席に近づくと、自動的に解錠し、離れると自動的に施錠するシステムです。また、スイッチによるドアのロック、アンロックもできます。電子カードキーは計3個まで追加可能。
サイズ: L45

I'm think two sensor and a relay per door.

The relay would keep the power applied to the motor until a sensor would trip/ short the relay so that it would stop the motor from spining. And the actual switch assy would be different too.

I think it would a very doable thing, however, expensive.

search around...it's been discussed in a couple of threads here before... but maybe with japanese parts would be more easily possible than in those threads....don't really recall specifics...

Thanks for starting this new thread sharivan. It will be very useful. Right now, questions are being asked all over the place and it would be nice if they would all be posted here. I have a quick one to add, that the answer is probably no:

Can you roll up your rear window with the remote?

What does do the first and second numbers mean (retail and then discount)
26,250円

I know they are toyota published prices, but I'd like to know what an actual toyota dealer (perhaps dealer discount in Japan) would charge so that when I order them from here, I know I'm not getting ripped off!

Thanks.

Hi,
TOYOTA parts NO.

Drivers door unit
08193-35010

Adon back door unit

SHARIVAN, Many Many Many Thanks! I was about to get frustrated with my US toyota dealership - now I can tell them the exact part number, cause this will be my next modification.

Now... as for you being charged published pricing. Well, that is good and bad. Many people in the US enjoy something that is called "Jobber" pricing which is a discounted cost which is definitely below retail.

I'm all smilling now.

I'm hoping that the 06 4R does not have this unit installed stock at the factory.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED US SPEC TOYOTA PART NUMBERS. Send me a picture, or describe a specific item, and I will perform the same research you did for me. I am more than happy to help you and your friends out!

Sorry,

[Including tax][Tax omission]
The number was mistaken. It is correction ending.
Tax is 5% in japan,

remote key

Hi, goodevening!
konbanwa☆ Mr.Luxury and everyone.

I attach a picture of my remote key.

We can roll up/down the rear window with remote.
Maybe it is normal style of our surf, not special one.

You have to be kidding me. Now I had it. Why could Toyota not given us the same nice features of the Surf.

Damn, I want my rear window to go up and down as well.

joseyasu, now you did it. We will be on a mission to get this option!

The key fob is also nice. How much do those keys cost / part number. I wouldn't mind ordering one if we are able to program the key with the vehicle.

PROZAC,
What am I missing? What are these or what does this system do?

This system allows you to approach the driver's side door and have it unlock automatically.

The second part number is an add on unit to the master controller that will allow an additional door to unlock as you approach it.

You must have the access card on your person or in your wallet. Its the size of a credit card.

Now, lets talk about the key (with fob on it) and the fact that the Surf rear window is UP AND DOWN!

Sharivan, no, our keys aren't the same.

Our keys have a transponder in them which deactivates the engine imobilizer function (added security so the vehicle can not be started just by jumping wires).

We have a plain Key Fob (functions are not on the key itself), which gives us the ability to lower (not raise) the rear window, and unlock and lock the vehicle (with a panic button on the rear of the fob).

Hitting the Lock Button on our FOB, the windows do not do anything at all - they stay put.
