The Bad news, and the Good news

I've been following along here for quite a while taking ideas but never really posted much, figured I'd start now.

the bad news is my 2003 V8 SR5 was totaled, and I am heartbroken.

The good news is i've found the replacement! 2005 V6 sport edition this time.

Mods here and there and a small lift, but nothing too crazy. Besides, one day this will be getting all the attention. (for all the land cruiser lovers here's my FJ62)

Nice i Like the land cruiser. Sorry about your 4r though. I may buy my neighbors FJ55 and pull the axles and triple stick setup and straight 6 and put it all in my 2nd gen.
 
Thanks! And that would be sick. I've never seen a 50 series. 40 series and 60 series are much more common in the US

I'm pretty sure it is not sure though I'm not a cruiser pro. Its a 75 and kinda looks like a jeep. Its locked front and rear. 5.29's I think. Teraflex revolving shackles. Its gnarly.
 
deffinatly not that one. Thats the one from the tv show thats why if stuck in my head. It's one of the jeep looking ones.

The one's that really looked like jeeps were the 40 series to me. Those were sick. Locking front and rear diffs would have been sick. I wish I had them.

Yeah its a 40. He has detroit's front and rear, twin sticks, and a rock crawler box. Also has terra flex revolving shackles. It is mean. He said the engine is super built. Something is broken on it though. Once my part truck is gone and i have my extra work space back i might drag it across the street and start helping him pull the engine and trans so we can figure out where its locked up at. I want to see it in action. He said its so built that its almost not fun to drive any more. You just point and hit the gas and your where you want to go.

Where are you located? I noticed the front license plate and it reminded me of the caribbean. Anyway, great looking rig!!
 
Any reason why you didn't replace it with the V8? As a 5th gen driver I am infinitely envious of those 4.7L's....
