Hey everyone!! I wanted to take the chance to say what's up and introduce myself. My name's Jimmy from Alabama. War Eagle for any Auburn fans out there!!
I am in the process of saving up for my first 4runner! I wanted to join this community on here to learn about them. The good the bad, the awesome :] I am leaning towards either a 3rd or 4th gen, but have a lot of research to do. I have actually driven both versions and it was hard to make a decision between the two.
I liked the how much roomier the 4th gen was and I guess the more modern feel of it, but I have always always loved the styling and simplicity of the 3rd gens. It's when I fell in love with 4runners, but things were never lined up to make a purchase on one.
Right now, I am stuck driving a soccer van after my last baby got stolen. I owned a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it was stolen with 142,000 miles on it. Got paid absolute crap from the insurance company which sucked. Stuck with the van for maybe a year or so, little less maybe, and then buying myself my first yota :]
