Hey folks, I don't post here much but have gotten a ton of info. I too can be added to the "Caliper Club" (no, not a band from the 80's with a cross-dressing singer):dancin: My 05 4runner sport with a little over 51K needs new calipers. I know there are several threads but I didn't this to get lost in another thread. EVERYBODY that has had this issue needs to call Toyota Customer Service so they can start files on them. I got the old, "I don't see any issues in our data base" response:shrug: Unless people let them know, ignorance will be their defense. Get the name of the person you talk to and the File #. I know it's sort of a pain but these quality standards are unacceptable buy KIA standards let alone Toyota. We need to try and force them to institute a recall or Tech service bulletin at the very least. We have a better chance right now due to all the other issues they have had. Take care, Jeff
P.S. They will want the V.I.N. and ask if you bought it new. I bought mine used but I don't give a shit what they think. You don't stop backing your product if it's not purchased new.
