I have inside experience with the Cruze, and while it is a very nice vehicle for the money, I have some serious doubts about long term reliability after seeing a few wrecked and seeing them really torn down to their guts. For example, there is a computer in the HEADLINER that will not allow the vehicle to run if it malfunctions. The transmissions are having issues, we have already rebuilt a couple of them before they even hit the showroom to be sold, and some of the fit and finish items are quite cheezy. I work for a Chevrolet dealer, and I would rather buy a Mazda 3 than a Cruze for a small car.
