There is something similar that we are putting on our trucks over at one of the Tacoma forums. It fits great but the only issue is that the Chinese versions often have broken clips. Do you think there will be any issues with this? My wife and I really like the look of this for our 4R.

Has anyone blacked out the TOYOTA letters from the original silver color? I'm going to black out my off road emblems and the front and rear valances and was wondering about the varnish letters.

I blacked out my "Off Road" emblems, the front/rear valences, and did the Pro grill. I left the TOYOTA the matte silver and I think it looks awesome on my Barcelona Red rig. I don't really like the look of black emblems on a black background. The Toyota logo on the back, and the "4RUNNER" is still chrome with a black background... Now I want to paint it matte silver to match the front.
I took my 4runner in this morning to have the wheels/tires balanced at the Toyota dealership and the tech noticed the garnish didn't look right, so they ordered a new oem replacement garnish for me not knowing it was a knockoff! I was honest with them and said "it isn't oem".

I’m going to do this mod in the Spring but do you all think I should just order it now? Anyone think they may run out or stop selling them in a month or two?
I think you will be fine, I don't think a bunch of people are going to pick this mod right away, it doesn't really have any meaning it's cosmetic. Look at the ebay one also, I guess guys that ordered direct had to wait a long time because of logistics It's on my list of things to get in March, but I have a bunch of other stuff like a lift TRD wheels, roof rack, a fridge and skids, front bumper and rear bumper on my list since most of those actually help the performance. A snorkel is on my list but have no clue where to start and since the 4Runner has 550 miles on it I have no intentions of cutting it.

After a bit of reading and eBay browsing I decided to go for it with the grille. Ordered from Panlongtec. A little skeptical since item is already deleted from eBay and I can’t view my order... I’m not too familiar with EBay. Is this normal or is it something to worry about? I did receive the email confirmation and seller has very positive feedback... any input would be appreciated.

To all those that have done this already, what is the best / most reliable way to order the grille? Direct from the cartrim website or through an eBay vendor? If eBay, which vendor? Thank you.
I say eBay but just buy from reputable and if possible from US stock.
The eNay seller bruceshark-001 that sold over 200 quantiojas removed it must be due to sold out.

I have a reputable POC at one of the manufacturers in China if you need the Pro replica with the diamond LEDs for the grill ($129) or without ($121). Good quality and small gaps on the side - I have a super white and the install looks solid. The LEDs on mine are not from him. He gives me 10% off and can usually expedite the shipping so it's here in less than 10 days (not 3+ weeks).
