Just ordered the upper and lower for 118 shipped on ebay. I think it might be coming from Chinaland but for the price w.e.

Painting my letters black because plastic "silver" is the antichrist.

I ordered from the cartrimhome website on Sunday, got an email that it was shipped on Mon and got it in today. The email with the tracking number said they had stock in Florida.

I opened it up and it looks awesome. Was packed really well too.

Just wanted to throw my experience out there in case anyone was worried about ordering from the site. Also, one of the posts on this thread has a code for 10% off so it was $91 plus shipping.

Ordered on 2/16 and arrived today, 2/19. Looks like it was shipped from an Amazon facility in Jacksonville, FL. Looks pretty good so far and packaged very well.

Finished the install and wired the marker lights that came with the grill. Quite pleased considering the price and quick delivery from cartrimhome.com

I painted over it with black plastidip and then plastidip clear glossifier. I did the front and rear in Sept of 2017 and haven’t had to go back and reapply anywhere.

One item to note on the LEDs, it looks like two of them have 5 leds inside and two have 3 leds. Noticed when I first powered them up. I moved the 5 led fixtures to the middle and the ones with 3 to the ends. Not sure if they are this way by design or not. Regardless, they are designed to fit into the openings in the grill, snap in and don’t require any zip ties to keep them in place.

I talked to my POC at the manufacturer Monday night (they run cartrimhome) and told him his pricing was not competitive enough - he is now running free shipping on the grills. Not sure how long they plan on doing free shipping.

So it does come with the letters? Looked on eBay for excelsellerusa and it shows the 2 pieces but does not show the letters. Also said it ships from Chino USA. Same one?

Yup, thats the one. And it doesn't show the letters in the picture, but in the description it says "2pcs/set Grilles(with logo)". And just looked again and noticed the origin was Ontario, CA. So missed the State there, my bad. So definitely the same one.

I ordered 1 grille from each vendor. The ebay grille came quicker than the cartrim….

Honestly, not sure. I did my own raptor LED install via DIY before I bought the grill. I know with the DIY method, you can wire it up to run off a switch or be 'always on' when the 4R is turned on. I don't see why you couldn't buy the switch and wiring and have the LEDs with the replica grill do the same.

Anyone ordered from madhornet website? I ordered it thinking it was being shipped from Cali as their site says so. After the order went through and got my tracking number it’s being shipped from China. $150 shipped but not sure how long it’ll take.

Ordered yesterday from Cartrim site. I emailed them before asking how long the free shipping option would take. He said 7-18 days but it averages about 10. I'm thinking they must have stock in the US at various locations. I'll install in the Spring once it gets a bit warmer. Everything I've read said the varnish piece goes on much easier if it's warm. After that I'll do the yellow lamin-x for the fogs and I'll be done. Already have the TRD wheels and Nitto tires, and 3 red d-ring shackles. Might plastidip the valances and emblems black but the silver doesn't look too bad on my MGM color. That will be it for the mods. I had a 93 Cherokee that I lifted and modded all up back in the day and an 07 Hummer H3 after that, but now these minor mods to the 4runner will suit me just fine.

I too ordered from car trim home yesterday. Hopefully it's a smooth process. I plan to install once temps rise.

Not sure yet how i will handle the lower valance on my super white 4R. Not sure if plastic dip is the day to go or maybe buy a sheet of vinyl wrap. I've platic dipped wheels before and the removal process has always sucked, regardless of how many coats i put on.

I did the yellow film on the fogs too and those came out pretty good and give a nice look. Nice and cheap mod.

Other issue with the way the guy installed his in the Youtube video you can't put the fuse cover back on.
