apparently the one that cartrimhome sells is a 1:1 copy. thats what people been saying. so if you order else where, it will probably be a little off.:noidea:

I received mine in 6 days from order. It took about an hour to install, 20 minutes of that was reinstalling the tape that I screwed up putting the cover on the first time. Fit is decent and I have a slightly larger gap on the driver side than I do on the passenger due to the way I positioned it when installing. I thought I would be able to shift it to center but tape was too sticky. I may try some plastidip in the gaps to really make them disappear. Overall pretty pleased.

Finally talked myself into ordering one. As soon as the weather warms up I'm going to install the grille and have a SEM Trim Black party with my valances, fender flares and hood scoop :frog:

Nice, I never thought about blacking out the hood scoop. I may have to include that in my valances and emblems dip.

Here's the pictures of the first one I received, waiting for next one in the next few days.

I received mine, kind of slightly disappointed with the quality. Not that I had high expectations from a Chinese product, but some of the edge were rough on the top side.

I know. I've sent them an email with pictures attached and they just reply me back that they are sending new parts free of charge. At least their customer service is great as for now(even better than some local business).

My issue wasn't about the gaps at each side, it's that some edge weren't deburred correctly and had molded plastic on both edge that make the top portion rough. I do have some pictures but need to resize them.

Nice, I never thought about blacking out the hood scoop. I may have to include that in my valances and emblems dip.

I got the idea from [MENTION=144503]3RDCoastTRDP[/MENTION] It'll definitely help break up my sea of Quicksilver. I'm thinking about doing my doorhandles, too.

Long story short, and you can read about it earlier in this thread, but I ordered two so this is extra. I paid $140 shipped and would let it go for the same. I'd do $125 if someone wanted to meet local and pay cash.

Looks like they may no longer be packaging these with the wood box. Mine arrived this week and picked it up this morning since it needed a signature. The middle cover is fine, but the upper grille portion is broken. Will be contacting them regarding this issue.

Mine was in a regular cardboard box but packaged well. Take pics and email them. They will get it rectified immediately.

I decided today I couldn’t live with the uneven gap so I took it off and replaced the tape with the extra they included in the box and got it reinstalled and centered much better. Gap is now the same on both sides and it only took about 15 minutes since I now knew what I was doing. For anyone installing one I would recommend putting the cover on before reinstalling the upper grill. That may be obvious to most but didn’t occur to me the first time I did it. Much better fit this way.

Had an email response waiting for me this morning stating they will send out a replacement tomorrow. I added on some extra letters as well as I screwed up the double stick tape on two. They had no problem shipping them together.

Very fast response and so far they have been very nice and great to deal with!

That would be great. I’m a big fan of this site because they do have great customer service but more importantly they fairly price what are essentially nothing more than pieces of plastic. So hopefully soon the valances will be available!
