The grill only comes with the dimples and letters. The letters come with 3M type backing. Once they are on, it’s difficult to remove them. Trust me, they won’t just fall off.

Ah, yes some are applying extra backings/epoxies, but I'm unsure why. I guess they just want that reassurance. I've had my grill for almost 2 years, it's been through numerous pressure washes and stress testing by my kids, and they haven't budged with just the tape.

Got the lights installed and wired up this weekend..Tried the tail/stop fuse but that put the lights on even with the vehicle off and the light switch in the off position. Decided to piggy-back the headlight fuse and that seems to work fine, so they come on with the headlights..would still prefer to have them come on with the parking/running lights, any other option in the underhood fuse box to do that?

Sorry, wish I could help with that piece of the install but I ran mine into the cabin through the firewall. It was pretty easy to do though, honestly.

Did you plastidip your grille piece/letters? I have the knockoff PRO grille and my letters are silver. I wanted a blank grille but they all have the dimples so it would look dumb without the corresponding letters.
Installed the knockoff grille from Mad Hornets yesterday ($132) shipped! I was surprised by the packaging...very well done with bubble wrap etc.

I added a strip of 3M tape to the grill cover for some added security. The only thing I struggled with was putting on the Toyota letters. It was somewhat difficult and I recommend getting some thin emblem 3M tape in case you screw it up like I did on two letters. I also might buy some extra letters if they happen to fall off for some reason.
$130 vs almost $500 for the stocker was a no brainer for me. Does it have a small gap on each side sure. It came out pretty nice for the price!

There is an illuminated option now and it’s prety neat.
Those are pretty nifty, but I'm still partial to the traditional 'heritage' pro replica grill. I feel like there would be too much going on with each letter individually lit up. To each their own!

My "O" letter looks a little off can I take it off and reapply it with new double sided tape? If so what size tape should I buy?

Yes, you can reapply. Just go to your local automotive store and purchase double-sided outdoor tape. If you can't fine one that is thin enough, you should be able to just trim to size.
Mine arrived this morning. I might take off the tape on the letters...there is a little bit of play with the letters fitting in to the dimples. Once that tape is on its game over LOL. I might crazy glue them on, that will give me a minute to adjust them all so they are perfect.

No, they have not repleneished their US warehouse.
I think they may have either just run out or got a replenishment? Mine just shipped yesterday from California.
Looking at the grille and really like it, but not sure if I want to run the lights or not.
Would there be any reason why I couldn't order the one with lights but just not install them? Any difference in the upper grill between the standard and the one with lights? Are there gaps in the upper grill where the lights would fit if left uninstalled?
