I put this on the back burner for now, just redid the tailgate garnish. I'll let you know if I do change out the front.

Just installed my Cartrim grill, pretty unhappy.
Cartrim service was fantastic: they re-sent me a grill (i paid $15 to re-ship) because the post office tried to deliver then sent it back to China. I was really surprised at how quick and easy Cartrim was in handling this situation. Kudos.
However, the fitment of the plastic overlay is horrible, there is a gap on both sides where the black piece doesn't run all the way to the body. And the lettering on the overlay is garbage. The 3M tape was falling off and it doesn't hold to the plastic well. All in all it's on my vehicle, but i will be putting a new TRD Pro grill on at some point. Really disappointed in how it looks.

I've read of the gaps from several people and seen it in videos too often that I'm just going to bite down and order the OEM one from Toyota

Im the pickiest guy around and while the CTH grille does have gaps they are not a big deal. Center the trim and it’s fine.
The letters are fine too. Adhesive is fine. Order an extra set if you are worried.

How many people are going to complain about gaps on the sides before they realize the OEM garnish has the same gaps?

That’s right about the OEM gaps.
The only thing you get on the OEM that’s different is the letters come pre-affixed and I do believe the 3M mounting tape on the garnish is different. If that’s worth an extra $450 to you then it’s worth it. Wasn’t for me. Also keep in mind that it will still come down to how well you install it that will affect how good it looks. If you don’t align it perfectly, the gaps will be off center. But again we’re talking 1/8-1/4 inch gaps so I still don’t get the problem with the gaps. No one is looking at your grille that close to notice that.
I too read all the stories about how it didn’t look great but I couldn’t pass up the price. I took my time, used some extra 3M vehicle mounting tape just to be sure, and used a heat gun to heat up all the surfaces to help with adhesion. Also a little drop of gorilla glue on the dimples for the letters to ensure they never come off in the future. Had it now for 4 months, in the cold, through many high pressure touchless car washers and it’s held up perfectly fine. I’ve been very pleased with it, as have many others too.

Factory part #'s for 2020 ORP, I ordered mine from Larry H. Miller Toyota in Colorado. There is a small gap even on the factory part, I looked at a Pro on the lot and it also has the same small gap. The Heritage bar does have a small cut out on the bottom to go around the TSS.

How come you ordered another radiator bracket? Shouldn't your current one work with it?

yes the bracket was the same. I didn't know any better and the jack ass dealer told me I needed it.

Haha... I would say I'm shocked that they would tell you that but I'd be telling a lie. Is the valance you ordered the one that is on the pro?

Yes, the black one from the Pro. 52169-35120 is the Rear cover and 53901-35250 is the front valance.
