Installed my grill and couldn't be any happier for the price. Everything was solid.
Their is a little gap on both sides but you wont be able to see it until you're up close.
The letters were easily installed. I used a leveler to make sure it was all straight.

Factory part #'s for 2020 ORP, I ordered mine from Larry H. Miller Toyota in Colorado. There is a small gap even on the factory part, I looked at a Pro on the lot and it also has the same small gap. The Heritage bar does have a small cut out on the bottom to go around the TSS.

Cool, thanks. Do you actually need to replace the bottom portion of the grille on '20s to make it fit?

How many people are going to complain about gaps on the sides before they realize the OEM garnish has the same gaps?



It's an exact copy people.

Yep, but you can only preach it so many times. To each their own though, right - spend the $500 and say it’s OEM with the same gaps or buy the CT one for $150 and use the other $350 for more mods.

I’ve had mine on for more than a year now without any issues at all - rain, Texas heat, power washes, wheeling - nothing has budged.

Use a heat gun or lay the grill out in the sun for a few hours before install and it will fit to the body a lot better. Buy extra letters if you’re worried for an easy replacement - I did but I was more concerned about someone ripping off a letter to be a jerk vs it just falling off - the 3M tape is strong on the letters - they’re not going anywhere.

It took me a couple hours to get the letters just right. Afterward I wondered if it would have been easier instead to stick the plastic letters to the adhesive cutout without popping the letters out. Then put them all on at the same time instead of doing each letter individually. I don't know if the spacing on the vinyl cutout is right though. Just a thought.

Interesting. Adhesive already placed on letters (silver) in my case. Plastic/letters had matching dimple protrusions/indentations to make placement easier. I recall the O's being unique (spacing) for some reason, but otherwise not too bad. Quite happy to save a few hundo at any rate.

Yes, the black one from the Pro. 52169-35120 is the Rear cover and 53901-35250 is the front valance.

Hey curious if you around to installing the valances on your vehicle. How difficult was it and have a pic.

Does anyone have experience using some kind of plastic restorer periodically instead of painting the cover from the outset? My letters are already on, and I can't decide if I should pry them off, paint the cover, and re-set the letters or just install it as is and worry about fade later.

Also, those who painted the cover: did you also paint the mesh portions to get a color match? Thanks!
