Finally got around to installing. Pretty simple using YouTube videos for reference. Changed out tape for genuine 3M. Oddly enough mine had two snug fitting centering guide tabs so made getting it positioned just right a breeze.
Ordered from NINTE fir $135 all in. Very happy with the final result.

Oh, nice! How bad was lining up the letters? Watching videos online, they do the letters after mounting the black part onto the vehicle. In theory, I feel like if the letters have those nubs, it would be easier to mount them on a bench prior to getting the piece onto the vehicle.. no?

Not too bad. I ran a piece of painter's tape along the bottom to line them up.
The issue with the "nubs" on the letters is that they are much smaller than the actual indents on the bumper garnish. So the nubs are sort of "floating" within the intends...if that makes sense. They are really just a guide.

I checked 3 of the orders I helped facilitate and CT shipped them out the next business day. 1 of them cleared customs and the other ones look like they're still sitting there. The delays are largely with customs, not CT getting orders out.
It'll be much easier when they are able to restock their US inventory!

Just an update - for the orders I was tracking, most are averaging about 9 days. CT is processing orders in about a day but again, the delays are with customs.
If you ordered and didn’t get a tracking number from CT, reply to your order email and request one.

You can contact CT and request one but if they provided you a tracking number and show it’s in transit, I don’t know that they will just cancel it. Have you tracked it? What is the last update in USPS Tracking History?

On USPS it says "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment". On the link CTH provided it hasn't moved since July 30th. Customs must be nuts with COVID right now.

My chinese grill with 3M exterior trim paint (black) has held up 2 AZ summers without fading at all. Its been power washed and looks brand new after each wash.
The gray “TOYOTA” letters faded after 1 summer and are a mixture of gray and the black plastic underneath the gray paint.
I ordered two sets of black letters from Cartrim.
Im going to paint one set a gunmetal color with a satin urethane clear.
The 2nd set are going to be hydrodipped a walnut woodgrain.

Looks like it was in customs for a long time 7/30 - 8/22 per the tracking number; they did get it out within a few business days, initially. Delivery was attempted today. Shot you a DM.

Yeah, that's what I've tried to stress. The Rona has done a lot of damage and caused significant delays across the board. So many 4R related companies have huge delays because they're not getting their stuff from overseas in a timely manner. This is unfortunately the current state of affairs.
Now, some people did get their grill in 10 days and others did not. I cannot explain why that is. I know CT is working on stocking up their US warehouse, but again, I don't have details as to when that will happen.
91324, any updates on the availability of a 2020 replica grill from CT ?
