The DAY! before my lift arrives

Tomorrow my 3.5 " Sanora Steel lift with the 2.5 shocks is supposed to arrive, and then this happens. I'm hydro locked and my floor boards are soaked. I don't yet know how bad things are going to be. I feel like someone just kicked me in the balls and then told me my mom is dead.

I try to avoid deep holes like this one, but when I must, Inalways try to take the right side first to keep the fender up. I've got luck a few times and found water in the bottom of my filter. This hole doesn't even look deep enough to get in the airbox

I guess it means you'll likely have more than one big project? The 99's getting the same lift same time but I think we'll just be trying not to take it swimming.

Okay guys since I sadly do not know how to post my own thread [emoji23][emoji174] I need some thoughts! I have a sr5 1996 4runner I'm running 235tires and it sits factory! So nose down. Well I've decide I'm going with 3in in the front and 1.5in in the back. 3in in the front makes it level with the rear at 1.5in. If that makes sense? Anyway I'm thinking about running 275/65/18 with 18x10 tires! Is this do able? I rarely go off road but I have my sprees. Saying that I would like SOME flex room. Any thoughts that could help me? Will I rub any? I know they're wide rims but from what I seen they won't look too much like a balloon hah. I just want some nice stance! So any tips

It's very bad taste to just start a thread of your own in the middle of someone else's thread.

I gather you do not know how to start your own thread, so perhaps you should have posted that simple question here vs trying to take over the OPs thread.

What you have done is the Internet equivalent of hopping into someone's car as a passenger and changing the heater setting, reprogramming the radio and moving the seat to the full forward position. To say the least....not cool man

Unless the water was a lot higher, or you went in like a wrecking ball, there is no reason your motor should be hydrolocked. Your air inlet sits about even with the center of your turn signal. Perhaps you did not do as much damage as you think.

Hate to see a NC Runner (or any Runner for that matter) down. Hopefully the damage isn't terrible. I'm reasonably close to you, if you need a hand. I'm not a mechanic but I can stand around, fetch tools and open beers.

SHE LIVES!!! I was able to pull all the plugs crank it to force the water out, replace the plugs and keep cranking till she fired up. No ticks clicks or clunks.

What had happened is I was on the side of the water then it drop off and slide into the center all of a sudden. The slide pushed a wave of water out and then it came back choked her out. I got very lucky. None of my fluids got containmented.

I wasn't out screwing around. I was just trying to take a short cut cause I made a wrong turn.
