Well what ever it is it started with this forum being updated, this is why i have moved mostly to the Toyota 4Runner Forum [4Runners.com] i have no problems there.

And no stupid POP UPS i keep having to close on this forum, me thinks we have been sold out to the Adders.

Its to keep the bots out. Website has been ALOT faster sense they did it. It doesn't bother me to keep the speed up.

I did notice some problems a month or so ago, but today the forum is working pretty good. I think it could be your computer setting, etc., but that may not be the case.

The verification step takes >10s for me, and really makes it hard to use this site. Especially when I click a link from a Google search looking to solve a particular issue. If a user is logged in, it shouldn't need to verify them again (and again...)

Hard to use forum

Try changing your internet search engine. Then try the site with pop-up ON/OFF to see if it calms down to be usable.
I had same complaints months ago, but got it working now.

This forum has had many spam bot issues over the years. It's not as bad as it used to be.
Platform seems antiquated....
The pop ups are aggravating as well.

On mobile (iPhone), there's no 'remember me' checkbox, so I have to login with username/password every single time. Been this way for years, and I never have found an answer.

I did, and I don't remember why, but that didn't work either. Not gonna mess with it now.

I use my laptop 90% of the time and never encounter these issues.
It does suck pretty much when I use my phone.

I use my desktop; Edge is my browser, with AdBlock extension. Works wonderfully, and lightning fast. The AdBlock is a game changer for this site!
