The great rear spring debate..

Too late for this one, but for the next person looking at this thread, I’d highly recommend Dobinsons. They have the biggest range of rear spring lift heights and a really nice rate for a good ride.

Rather than start a new spring thread, thought I'd post up here. Is there a "true" 1.5" of lift in the rear? SAW (wheeleroffroad.com) claims 1.5" for their T12 but people reported 2" of lift. Are these the only 1.5" rear springs that are available to us?

Thanks.

I got exactly 1.5” over stock from Dobinsons 599. They’re supposed to be 1” lift springs but if you look at the spring length and rate, it calcs out perfectly to 1.5”.

Dobinsons. I originally had icon and will never go back. Their customer support is great, and they offer several (more than anyone else) options for spring rates.

Hey man- How is the MT LT Medium setup?

I have the Icon 2" rear springs and I'm getting a good amount of sag in the back when loaded up with camping gear and dogs. I don't have a rear bumper.

Trying to decide between the Medium and Heavy so I'm curious what your thoughts are after having them for awhile.

The MT Medium springs handled weight perfectly for me. Unloaded was a little stiff, but loaded (fridge, camping gear, etc) it was about perfect off road. I recently swapped to the heavy coils after adding a rear swing out steel bumper and those are paired perfectly with my front end now.
