Thanks to dawgrunner for the great idea for the cargo floor I copied his design and made a floor for myself out of 11 ply finished pine and carpeted it with some marine carpet. Bolted down my fridge slide amd my tie down rails and I'm good to go!

Among a few other small things I did was replace my old set of led turn signals. They were too sunken back and you could barely see them so I found a great set from superbrightleds.com the mount on the triangular pattern for the sw bumper and they protrude thru the hole for better visibility

Looks great Josh. Always like seeing updates/additions to your build because of your attention to detail. How are you liking the Currie axle? It looks bada$$ with the orange. I run a Currie 9" in my Mustang and love it.

Thanks so much =)

I'm in love with the axle, it performs so great and the gears I have are extremely quiet. Its nice to have a massive rear end back there. The only thing that sucks is that it take 7 Quarts of gear oil back there to fill that baby up!

Prepped For Bumpstop Installation

i chopped the stock bump stop mount and grinded it all down nice and clean, then i prepped the strike pad for the curvature of the axle and clearanced it to go around the axle sway bar mount

so after finishing work early today i finished up my bump stop mounts. i took plenty of time to get the geometry right before i started welding. found placement and tacked them into place

cut out some gussets from 1/4" plate (way overkill but it was scrap pieces i had in the garage)

i liked the way it turned out buuuuut i then realized i didnt account for the sway bar! it would barely graze on its upstroke but i wanted to do it right the first time, so i chopped the rear gusset and boxed it in to clear the sway bar with plenty of room

im very happy with the end product, it came out very clean and very strong and everything lines up great!

i also decided that orange was quite working out for the coils because they would catch alot of dirt during driving so i painted them with VHT Chassis Black. i highly recomend this paint to anyone painting frame parts and what not. it can be found at kragen/o reilly/ checkers for about $7.99 a can

i also painted the axle again with the Vht

Snapped my CV on winch hill 3 and decided to set up camp here for the night. We already pulled the CV (which the shaft in still in great shape it was the race that broken on the other

i finally got home from a long weekend a few hours ago and i am in desperate need of some sleep.

here is a few pics i downloaded from earlier today on the Fordyce trail in some serious 4X3 action

(you can easily notice the void where a passenger CV should be)

Great pictures. I bet you had great weather. I see you got a new Trasharoo too. 4x3'ing is how I roll.

Thanks!
