Anyone know how to replace the lights that light up the display next to the shifter on an automatic? I can see what gear im in via the dash display, but im pretty sure they used to light up on the console display as well. '99 limited 4X4 Thanks

i know!

for your 1999, you need one #194 bulb. search the net. if you want an LED light:

as for replacing it, since shops around town should have the incandescents...

#1 Use a flathead screwdriver to pop the plastic that lies around the shift knob(s)

#2 Carefully lift it up and over the knobs. it will require you to turn it.

#3. Unscrew the 2 screws the hold down the PRND32 indicators.

#4 You should find a slot directly below the middle of the PRND32. the PRND32 wont come off so just hold it up and replace the burnt out bulb. (feel around with it t find it.

#5 Test it.
