Hey folks! I know this is a 3rd Gen Forum, but I thought I'd show you this thread about a 1980's Pickup with the 22RE motor that competed in this years KOH!

The truck was up against high budget builds, and completed the race!

I just found it cool that a low budget, beat to hell, 80's Toyota pickup, completed the same race as Multi-thousand dollar rigs did!

I know not many Americans watch top gear (u.k.) but those guys there took a little yota pick up trough hell and back, then dropped a trailer on it!

It sits in there show room because even after all that stuff it still runs! And I believe they ran it into a tree.

Yeah, it was pretty sweet to see that thing in action up close (J-money$$$, Driffter33, COB and I went to KOH again this this year)! It was my 2nd year there and I intend on making KOH a yearly event for me. It helps when you only live a little over an hour away from the best off road race in the world!

Top gear

Go watch the episodes on utube. It's called a hi-lux. They even parked it on the top of a 15 story or so building that was being demolished. You see the explosion go off, you see th hilux drop to the earth, then it's lost in the dust and rubble. They connect a battery it starts and they drive away in it. Awesome. GO WATCH
