Kasey that's exactly when I experience it! And I thought of it earlier and put a sponge underneath it but maybe the felt is a better option

Actually I bet a small sponge glued to the back of the plate would be an even better solution, just make sure the sponge isn't touching the paint otherwise it could eventually rub through the paint with the constant contact.

Yeah I've just got it wedged under and held by only the tension of the plate.

I also have a rattle. Definitely sound like metal on metal. Occurred after my shop installed my rear coils. I witness them do it and I suspect it could be the rear suspension links hitting something. Feels loose back there. Any thoughts? It's not a major problem just an inconvenience.

I first thought suspension too but after my buddy and I installed the rear spacers we went over it and tightened and/or lubed everything back there.
