I have noticed a lot of rust issues with the Runners, that in my opinion needs to be addressed before something terrible happens. These frames, body panels, bumpers etc. on the rigs are just dust in the wind.
I would like to start getting each person to get outside and take pictures of all the rust you have and post them up here with a description.
We then need to get a group letter together and send it off to Toyota and the NHTSA http://www.nhtsa.gov/Vehicle+Safety/Recalls+&+Defects, or multiple letters for a larger impact. There are thousands of us that have this problem and there needs to be something done about it. Let's be pro-active and get this done soon.
I will be going out today to get pics and then start the prevention process. I recommend everyone else does too. Check those frames, welds, connection, rear diffs, Bumpers etc..
Let's get something going so we can all drive our Runners down the road without worrying about the rear ends coming out from under us.
