Yeah you can see the aftermath of that in the second pics... I wanted to see if I could tell if just the lifters were knocking. But it sounded a little deeper in the engine... and plus that chocolate milk was spraying everywhere....

I don't know why it thinks you should register. I use Firefox and tried it in IE which has zero cookies and it worked. I cannot cut and paste since it is three pages.

WOW, That's ridiculous. I have to agree with a few of the other members and believe they knew the truck was in trouble and wanted to ditch it quick. If it was me I'd also swap out the motor. With that kind of build-up who knows how long it will last and it'll always be on your minds. With a new motor you can be somewhat more relaxed that you will have years of trouble free service.

That is ridiculous. I bet they knew the engine was crap in that thing and was just trying to unload it before they moved. That's BS.

California has lemon laws that even apply to private party, has to do with the pink slip that you sign and the vehilce has to pass smog and you have to sign an "as is" part of the slip if you dont have the car checked out.

Don't know what state you are in or if it happened so long ago you cant do anything but wow that engine is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.
