The Strawberry Milkshake

I've dealt with the strawberry milkshake on two occasions on two different 4runners. MAKE SURE YOU FLUSH YOUR HEATER CORE OR REPLACE IT! All that crud is just clinging to your heater core. Both front and rear heater cores needs attention. I cannot stress this enough. The passages on your heater core is already tiny and the milkshake just cruds it up.

I don't have the link but on Toyota there is a complete service record link. If any work was done at Toyota and maybe elsewhere it would be available to you. I even add my own own service records , the work I do myself to the list.

NICE! Made my day UTEP. Had no idea I could access service records online. One of the service records available happens to be a transmission flush at 210,xxx. Says, "dark fluid" and even specifies 12 qts of fluid in the notes. I read somewhere on here it was closer to 15...?? So how how long is the toyota atf good for? Would they have replaced the filter too? There is no mention of the filter... Also no record for the radiator being replaced but it "looks" really good to me. So, maybe a radiator, trans filter and a few qts of atf will be added to my black friday shopping list...
