Not much is new around these parts other than heading to Ouray for the FJ Summit last weekend. Ducked out of work early on Friday and shot down there to party Friday night and wheel Saturday.

Do your tires rub on the spindle at all? We both are running rims with 4.5" BS. The MTR's apparently run wide and I rub the spindle at full droop.

Sweet thanks much, the bushing is no issue 4x probably has some in the parts bin I can snag.
Figures he is running those now. What's your opinion of the boss rears? I was looking at them and they seem pretty pricey for what I assume is just a rebuildable bilstein.

Yeah IMO they are pretty much a bilstein equivalant. Toytec recently released their BOSS 2.5 coil overs for the 120 platform. I assume they will have rear shocks and a 2.5 version out soon for the 1st gen taco/3rd gen 4Runner. Those will be more comparable to the ICONs he was running.

Yeah i'm not good at updating this anymore. Pretty much the whole suspension has since changed and will more than likely continue to change.
The shocks i was running were the 56503R's. Had them for a few years and then had one start to leak so i swapped to the FJ Boss shocks until i decided on what i was going to do. I have a set of custom set of ICON 2.5 remote resi's being built right now.

No i haven't. It will happen eventually but just not something i'm worried about right now. It makes boost and whooshy noises. Good enough.
E85 definitely gave it a bump. back on 91 now though for winter.
