Yeah this is a great build by AT and Proffitt's Cruisers. E7 is going to be epic!

I really do not understand their want to make the cab the primary sleep area though. Not for 2 years anyway. I would have installed a carbon Maggiolina RTT, and ducted the Espar heater to it, just my 2 cents.

I am following this closely. BTW, this build will be featured in Expedition Portal's new e-magazine Waypoint. I am designing the first issue now.

Being of an expeditioning persuasion as well, I'm also keenly following this. My first observation is that it's amazing what's possible with the support of sponsors and what appears to be an unlimited budget.

By comparison, I feel like I'm dumpster-diving with my expedition vehicle build.

It's also amazing what is possible with a modestly built vehicle and a whole lot of adventuring spirit! The heart and spirit of adventure are free, but cannot be purchased, regardless of budget.

I do however have a little envy of this bad boy and its build though to be perfectly honest if I had the money/sponsors and set-up to allow me to travel the world overlanding I would want a rig like this too, but I don't therefore my 4runner is the PERFECT vehicle for my needs right now, I LOVE IT!
