Picked up some BFG A/T KO 295/75/16 the other day.

I had already removed the front mud flaps and trimmed front wheel well plastic to previously clear 285's and trimmed rear mud flaps. I also run 1.5 spacers at all wheels to increase back space for stock rims and the front spindles have a 1" offset each side so the front is 2.5 over stock each side.

As far as rubbing, just in the front when turning with compression turnig out of my drive way so far. You can see in photo 3 where im talking, the lower portion of the front bumper. I plan on just dremeling out a corner of it and slightly increasing the preload on my CO's in front. I am getting a bumper within the next month or two, so Im not concerned with trimming.

Hmm, Im sorry my thread has no interest for you. I thought some members may find interest in a size of tire that I have not seen anyone run yet. I guess I will let you know when I SAS it.

Ive always been partial to the BFG A/T's. Just think they are a great tire for a daily driver/desert runner and have always performed well. Never blown one or had any sidewall issues as I have seen many times on the runs. I thought about going M/T's but really couldnt see the point for me, they dont do so well in sand that I have seen which is opposite of what I thought. Only other tire I was considering were yokohama's but decided against them.

Dont have any compliants about the spacers, only had on issue and that was the dealer stripping a stud. They left it on anyway, found it later when I was checking things out. Bastards!! They were 75 a pair from All Pro.

They are just over 33" by a bit and slightly wider than the common 285's. A 35" tire is actually smaller than 35" by about a half inch. And I cant fit a tire bigger than the 295's without going BL (aint happenin) or doing some major trimming to wheel well with some serious suspension work and new bumper in the back. Which I will be doing but nor just yet. :biggrin2:
