Hey Everyone!
After lurking this site for over a year I have finally found some time to get started on mods for the truck. This is my first truck and cant be happier. The old ride was a Lexus IS250 and although I miss the luxury the 4Runner is a riot to drive around in!
Today marks my first non maintenance purchases and ordered the following
Cooper Discoverer AT/3's - 265 70 R16 (Set of 4)
WeatherTech Liners Front and Rear
40in double row LED Light Bar for the front
20in Single row LED Light Bar for the rear
2 x 10 in LED Bars for the Sides
2 x Pod LED Lights just for fun...lol
Thule Snowboard/Ski Rack
Future Modes
-2-3 in lift with new suspension
-Tundra Brakes, hopefully on a different 16in rim considering I just bought new tires
-Double Din NAV - the new Apple nav from Panasonic is what im going for but will have to wait a year for price to go down, or to pick one up used
-Custom Roof Rack - plan to weld at a local shop near downtown los angeles to make the mounts for all my LEDs, this will likely take forever...
-ARB or similar Front Bumper
-Rear bumper with Swingout Spare
-Retrofit Projector Headlights
-CB Radio Mount
-Rewrap the interior in a simple Leather. My fabric is toast and smells from the previous owner
I also painted the flares with plastidip to get my StormTrooper scheme going.

It took about 4-5 coats to get it completely black. Its been about 3 months now and the Plastidip has surprisingly held up well to multiple car washes without much wear at all. I did not trust a removable paint before trying but shit...i think i just got converted.
The Thule Roof Rack is the type that slides out for easier access and has included locks on the attachments. Got it for i think 80 off craigslist and cant wait to test it out in two weeks up at Mammoth in California.
Anyways, I hope to contribute to the forum, post custom mods as I go along and continuing learning from everyone here. I am looking forward to hitting the trails with some groups as soon as school calms down. I am in a part time grad school program and time....is scarce.
