OW 2.5 with SAW 1.5 Rear Coils. Time will tell if I stay with 265 Tires but so far so good. A few "poser" shots.

All Pro Upper and Lower Links with Skids. Already dinged one of my stock lowers. These should be way more better!

This is what I use to store a few hundred MP3 files. Sort of a best of everything I like so I don't have to scan which can be annoyingly slow.

Lookin good! :boink: Pretty much bomb-proof by the time you're done, eh?

Yeah, almost there. Given the abuse the poor thing sees I'm just trying to give it a fair chance of getting back home. Now, if I only knew how to drive......... :lookout:

Looks beast, bro!
On another note, I thought March was "clean your truck" month?

looking really nice. :thumb3: you totally made the right call painting the TE parts to match; gives it a unique, custom look.

i'm curious what made you go with the OW 2.5 coilovers -vs- the OME setup you were contemplating earlier? and why the SAW 1.5 coils, as well?

Your truck looks awesome! Love the painted TE parts; exactly what I want to do to mine next year.

Did you happen to do a write-up of the BB winch plate install? No, I haven't searched (yet):hiding:

I like those All pro lower links. Your truck is looking really good to. I also like your spot for the G27. I just picked up a G23. Now i'm looking for a lockable solution for the center arm area.

Any plans to test those budbuilt bumpouts out? :)

Because Arie (pawzitiv) told me to :wink2: The rational was hashed out here

Righty Tighty. Its bolt on easy. Not sure anybody has done a official write up but I think Harper and maybe others have pics of it.

Done. And they DO work. :boink:

thanks for that, philly. i'm such a dummy; i actually posted in that thread! :ybrick:

i guess i'm still not clear on the rationale for the SAW 1.5 rear coils. i know that harper7 runs those with his Icon setup as well.

Only to keep the ride less harsh and the lift height within reason. I "think" the SAW coils are 12% stiffer than stock. Actual numbers for the most popular rear coils have been posted a few times here and on the FJ Forum.

Oh crap. Yes, you are right, of course. Lucky for me that one of our Canadian brothers was not the one to correct me. :redbrick:

LOL! After this post, I couldn't resist.

We DO have Glocks in Canada you know; I have a G17 Gen 4 and a G26 myself.

We just aren't allowed to carry them, unfortunately.

To stay on topic, I'm about to order a 2012 T4R Trail Edition. Yeah. Oh yeah!

I really like the clean OEM look of your winch mount... very classy. I may go that way at first; I'm planning on modding incrementally as time allows, and I'll bet that mount is a lot more affordable than a full winch bumper!

Any idea how big a winch will fit behind the stock bumper fascia? Bud Built's site is a little short on info (read: I can't even find that winch mount on there...)

The Canadian ribbing is just a good natured inside joke with a few guys here and not at all meant as a insult. I have seen the plate on Bud's site so you may want to look again. Should fit most with standard bolt patterns.

Haha... no insult taken! We poor Canucks are forever the brunt of jokes (some of the good natured ribbing on THR or GlockTalk can go for days... it's tough being America's hat!)

I guess I was more wondering how tall/deep of a winch might fit (or might not?)

Based on some Canadian Army recovery load tables I've seen, I believe a winch should have a pull rating at least equal to double the mass of the vehicle, so for a loaded 4R, that's a 10K winch, minimum.

Do you have a winch mounted yet on yours?

Most go with 1.5X. Mine has been installed for a while now but have not yet wired it up or installed the rope.
