i know this topic is pretty outdated, but since HBO has been playing Revolutions non-stop these past few days i thought i might post a topic in hopes of some closure.

here's the question:

What in the fu-schnickie was The Matrix all about anyways?

they made three movies and each movie i saw made it even more confusing. no doubt, the grafix were amazing although others try, they will never even come close. Can someone just sum up all three movies in a few short sentences. thanks guys!

Have you seen Animatrix? It explains a lot about the before and after of the The Matrix. It's a really great collection of "shorts"...I highly recommend it if you need some insight.

Basically:

Man creates machine.
Man enslaves machine.
Machine rebels against man.
Man attempts to destroy machine.
Machine enslaves man.
Man rebels against machine.
