I have a grouling/honking sound coming from under the front passenger side of my 1990 SR5 4x4. I thought it was the wheel bearings, so I replaced them and their races. I dont know if this matters, but it had the 52mm axle nut. So, when I'm driving it makes a rubbing/grinding loud kinda bark (like a hoarse dog). It go's away at high speeds on the e-way (I try not to do that very often with its condition). At slower speeds it's worse, I would say around 0-45 mph. I flushed and replaced the transfer case fluid in an effort to solve the problem to no avail. Got any ideas?
