I went on EBay & picked up a set of these :: Toyota PT413-42191 Fog Light (Black)

Seem to be genuine OEM, came from a dealer. Fit like a glove and the LED beam pattern appears awesome to me. No adjustments required. Was able to do them easily from underneath. Hope this helps...

When you say underneath - do you mean from inside the wheel wells behind the lingers, or literally from underneath?

I have these and ready to install myself and was hoping to squeeze them in today without spending a ton of time (out of fuel for the garage salamander...lol).

Driver's side is wide open from underneath. Passenger side, take the 2 maybe 3 10mm bolts off the bottom side of the bumper, takes seconds and it opens up (from under the rig) the wheel well with plenty of room.

Just to update my post above, I ended up pulling the Morimoto fogs back out so that I could swap the OeM fog light brackets onto the Morimoto fogs. I spent more time altering the XB bracket to fit than it did to swap the lights into the OeM bracket. Everything went right back together, the shitty spacing is gone and they fit perfectly in the housing.

Lesson learned. Don’t modify the Morimoto XB brackets, just swap them from your existing OeM fogs.

Yes, lying on my back on the driveway. Never thought of undoing those 10mm bolts as ForRun mentioned for the passenger side... I was able to easily feel my way up there however to undo the mounts and plop the new one in blindly, and finger tighten things before tightening properly. That plastic cover on that side is most of the pain.

It was quicker than getting the dremel out and butchering the Morimoto bracket to try to get them to fit.

1. From the OEM fogs, unscrew the adjustment screw, look inside the housing and pinch the tabs to let the screw fully back out. I used a small pair of needle nose pliers to pinch the tabs on the screw.

2. Lift the OEM bracket at the pivot point on each side and it will pop off.

3. On the Morimoto brackets, remove the adjustment screw and spring.

4. Remove the brackets at the pivot on each side.

5. Pop onto the OEM bracket onto the Morimoto pivots in the same orientation.

6. Screw in the white plastic adjustment screw from the OeM bracket.

7. Reinstall with no modification and enjoy having perfect fit with no gaps fog lights.

Before I removed the OEM fogs, I marked the cutoff line on the wall in my garage. For adjustment of the Morimoto fogs, I reinstalled the bumper but didn’t attach the fender liner. It’s easy enough to lay under the front of the vehicle, flex the fender liner back a bit and reach up with a Phillips head to adjust. The big OEM adjustment screw makes it super easy. That took no time at all.

I adjusted the passenger side slightly higher than the driver’s. Buttoned it back up and it’s been perfect.

I was pissed with the fitment of the Morimoto fogs before swapping the brackets. I had ground the brackets down to nubs with my dremel and they still didn’t fit for shit. The screw side of the bracket has to be enlarged to fit.... it’s just not acceptable.

The fit with the OEM brackets makes these fogs really standout.

I'm having a very difficult time removing the leveling screw form the OEM set up to transfer the bracket. I read your reference to using pliers, but I'm not sure I understand how that should be working. Any clarification would be much appreciated.

Stock Morimoto bracket fitment is terrible!
