Thieves attempted to break in, ruined lock

Hello folks, as you can see from the picture someone made an unsuccessful attempt to break in, they ruined the lock but weren't able to get in fortunately. The lock still locks, I just can't use my key in it anymore. How much would it be to have something like this fixed? I'm thankful the 4Runner was able to defeat the break-in attempt.

You need to get a new lock cylinder, and modify it to match your other locks on the truck. Alternately you could probably swap over the passenger side lock cylinder and put the new one in its place, then you don't have to worry about 2 keys (unless you frequently access the passenger door for some reason)

My 97 puppy hauler thread shows taking the driver door lock apart. You should be able to pull a used one and swap the tumblers from your injured lock to the replacement to keep your key.

If you want to save some money, pull the lock yourself and just have a locksmith fix it up for you. Here's my write up on my broken lock.

I did that for my Saturn. 30 dollars and they matched a door lock to my key.
